How long does it take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the site. A focused site can launch in as little as two weeks. Larger builds with a CMS, integrations or e-commerce can take up to twelve. We agree a timeline with you before we start.

What does a custom website cost?

It depends on what you need, and we scope every project to suit your budget. The price moves with how many page layouts the site needs, whether your team needs a content system to edit it, what it connects to (booking, a CRM, payments) and how much content there is to bring across. You can pay a fixed fee, or spread the cost with a monthly subscription. Either way, we agree the scope and the price after a discovery call, so there are no surprises.

Which framework will you use for my site?

Astro for most marketing and content sites, Next.js when there's real application functionality. We'll explain the choice in the proposal.

What is a headless CMS?

A place to edit your content that isn't tied to how the site is built. You get a friendly editing screen, we get a fast site. We usually use Sanity.

Can you write the copy?

Whichever suits you. We can write it ourselves, bring in a copywriter we trust, or work with copy you've written and give honest feedback on it.

Do you work with WordPress or Shopify?

Yes. We build new Shopify stores when your shop belongs on Shopify. New websites are custom builds, because they're faster and easier to look after, but we look after existing WordPress sites and can move you to a custom build when you're ready.
